Beckham is a two-year-old superhero battling cancer. He especially loves copters, and loves to watch the University of Michigan Health System's Survival flight helicopter take off from the window of his hospital room during his treatment.
We teamed up with Survival Flight to support Beckham by giving him a private tour of the Survival Flight helicopter! He got to sit in the pilot’s seat and learn all about the flights before watching the helicopter take off - this time up close rather than watching from his hospital window!
It was incredible to provide this amazing fighter with an adventure designed just for him and an opportunity for him and his family to spend a fun day away from treatment. Beckham’s family said he was talking about the “copter” for days afterward with a big smile on his face!
