Meet Carly, one of our friends and superheroes! She is 19 years old and is battling Ewing’s Sarcoma.
Carly was a freshman at the University of Minnesota when she was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Following her diagnosis, she had to leave school and return home to seek treatment at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Her treatment has been aggressive, but she is so full of strength and they are hoping she will be cancer-free soon!
Earlier this season, our Campus Crew Members at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee decided to bring Carly on a Superhero Adventure to brighten her day and give her a fun experience during her difficult treatment.
The adventure began with a bus ride straight to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Carly and her family received special access to a VIP indoor tailgate, where the Crew Members met them for a tailgate before the game!
Carly and her family received Love Your Melon beanies, and Carly got a special surprise when she was presented with a stitched Aaron Rodgers jersey!
Carly and her family cheered on the Packers from their special box seats, and they had a blast!
