Meet Emma! This amazing girl is six years old and has already endured so much after being diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma at age three. After many trips to the hospital and years of treatment, Emma recently became cancer free!
On Superhero Day, we celebrated Emma being cancer free with a Superhero Adventure! To start, we had a pizza party at a local restaurant. The owners had heard about Emma’s story and donated all the food and drinks in support of her family. When Emma walked in, the entire restaurant gave her a standing ovation! It meant so much to Emma’s family to have the support of their community.
We finished out the adventure with a trip to the pool. Emma was full of smiles and showed off her superhero moves with her cape! We are honored to celebrate and support incredible heroes like Emma. Thank you for supporting the fight against pediatric cancer.
