Five-year-old Mattix will battle Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis for the rest of his life. This is a rare disease involving proliferation of Langerhans cells and capable of migrating from skin to lymph nodes and brain. However, Mattix is fighting like a superhero and is so full of joy and love! We had the opportunity to bring Mattix on an adventure to swim in a hot springs pool and play at the park.
Throughout the day, Mattix amazed and inspired us with his positivity and his love for life. He talked endlessly about how much he loves his family and how he wants to be a football player when he grows up. It was incredible to encourage Mattix and his family through a fun day filled with his favorite things - thank you for your support to help make these adventures possible.
