Sometimes the best treatment for a child battling cancer may not be nearby, which causes strain on the entire family as they travel to and from the hospital. During this difficult time, families need to be together more than ever and to focus on one another rather than worrying about their basic needs.
Ronald McDonald House Charities exists to help these families by providing a place for them to rest, recharge and connect with one another.
RMHC has over 275 Chapters in 64 countries and regions around the world. Our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities directly supports RMHC programs, allowing more families to stay close to each other and the care and resources they need, when they need it most.
Our partnership also allows us to visit Houses around the country to prepare food, serve meals and host special events. At a Ronald McDonald House dinner, a Crew chooses a meal, prepares the food at the RMHC kitchen and serves the meal to families. They also spend time reading our children’s book, talking with families and of course giving beanies to every family!
It is always a blast to spend time with these families and share smiles, laughter and meals together. Thank you for making this partnership possible!
