Meet Will, a 5-year-old superhero battling neuroblastoma. Will is a Monster Jam fan, so we decided to give him a memorable Superhero Adventure with a Monster Jam twist!
In celebration of Monster Jam coming to Minneapolis this weekend, we teamed up with Monster Jam to give Will and his families a VIP preview earlier this week.
Will’s VIP Monster Jam Adventure began with a special visit inside the Monster Jam arena! He got to walk on the dirt, see the jumps and obstacles up close and even sit inside a giant Monster Truck!
But the adventure didn’t end there - Will also got to meet two Monster Jam drivers: Bryce Kenny, Monster Jam driver of Great Clips Mohawk Warrior, and Tom Meents, Monster Jam driver of Max-D! These drivers played with Will, showed him around the arena, and helped him feel like a junior Monster Jam driver as he got a personal tour of the truck.
Experiences like this Monster Jam Adventure are not only memorable for children, but they are extremely important for helping families to take their minds off the difficulties of treatment.
This weekend, we will be hanging out with Will and his family again, along with other local superhero families, at the Monster Jam event! We can’t wait to provide more smiles and memories for these incredible families. Thank you for making this possible.
